Chata Tatranka
Located in Stola, 10 minutes drive from Strbske Pleso, the main ski resort in the High Tatras, Slovakia. The High Tatras are known for good ski facilities during the December to April season and excellent walks/ hikes/ climbs from April to October. It is a national park and so the area is unspoilt by excessive development. The area is also known for its clean air and so there are several local spas for asthmatics. Rent this excellent accommodation for low cost per person in the beautiful countryside near Stola.

There is a general store only ten minutes walk away so supplies are easy to get. Buses regularly run up to Strbské Pleso and down to Poprad (the local town), with fares of around 60 cents. For anyone from the west, local prices are VERY cheap with beer costing from about 40 cents for supermarket bottles to around 80 cents in the pubs. Food is similarly cheap.

Guests usually arrive and leave on a Saturday.
All prices are for the cottage for one week (not per person!!!) and include gas, electric, water, firewood, sheets and towels. The prices do not include local accommodation tax at 0.35 Eur/person/night.
We will rent the cottage out for the weekend during spring and autumn for a price of 125 Euros and we can discuss other lengths of time.
